1991.12.1 JNIC established office in the University of Tokyo Computer Center.
Implemented "Concerning Registration of JP Domain Names" document.
1992.6.8 IP address assignment and management services transferred to JNIC from Address Coordination Committee.
1993.4.9 JNIC reorganized as JPNIC, a membership organization composed of Internet service providers.
1993.5.29 First meeting of Steering Committee held.
1993.9.1 APNIC pilot project launched.
1993.11.1 Pilot project for IP address agent services by JPNIC member ISPs begun.
1993.12.1 Geographic type domain name experimental project begun.
